BrainHealth: Strong Kick-off in Paris |
More
than 130 participants from across Europe gathered in Paris to
officially launch the European Partnership for Brain Health. The
Kick-off at the Musée National de la Marine marked the beginning of
a long-term collaboration to advance brain health research and
innovation across Europe and beyond.

Symposium 2026: Shaping Future Directions |

diverse community of experts gathered at PariSanté Campus to
prioritize and define new directions for brain health research. The
symposium focused on advancing translational research through
wide-scale collaboration. |

NEURON
& JPND Midterm Symposium: Research progress |
|
Nearly
100 researchers and representatives of funding organisations met at
Espace Cléry in Paris to discuss the progress of projects funded
under the 2023 Joint Transnational Calls of ERA-NET NEURON and JPND.
Covering topics from biomedical neuroscience to ethical, legal and
social aspects of brain research, the symposium fostered dialogue
between established experts, early-career researchers and
funders. |

JTC2026
calls were successfully launched |
|
The
first two Joint Transnational Calls from EP BrainHealth were
launched in January 2026. The response was exceptional: 312
pre-proposals were submitted for Call 1 (addressing neurological,
mental, and sensory disorders) and 282 for Call 2 (focusing on
neurodegenerative diseases). While the proposals are currently under

Training
patient reviewers for EP BrainHealth |
|
Patients
have an important role in shaping brain health research. A dedicated
training workshop prepared patient reviewers to contribute to the
evaluation of research proposals in the framework of the
Partnership’s calls, supporting meaningful public involvement in the
Partnership. |

A
landmark joint statement was published by the S7 Academies ahead of
the G7 Summit in Évian. The goal: elevating brain health to the top
of the global agenda. |
