Interactive session exploring the journey from research idea into real-world impact
The event takes place from 2:00 PM to 3:15 PM.
Location: Area 42, Brussels
How can promising brain research make the journey from an initial idea to practical application, investment and scale? In the framework of the European Partnership for Brain Health, the 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗖𝗮𝗳é: 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝗯 𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 will bring together researchers, innovators and investors for an interactive discussion on the challenges and opportunities along the innovation journey – from developing a research idea into an application to securing investment and achieving scale. The interactive session is organised by European Brain Council (EBC) in the framework of WP4 activities.
Through expert insights and small-group discussions, participants will examine the challenges and opportunities involved in translating brain health innovations.
Pascal Joncour, Partner & Investment Committee Member at Convergence Partners, and Antoni Homs Corbera, CEO and Co-Founder of Owl Lifesciences, will join the discussion, moderated by Jolien Roovers, Policy Advisor at VLO WEWIS.
Join us on 18 November in Brussels to take part in the conversation and explore what it takes to move brain innovation from the lab to the market.
