Boosting EU Competitiveness in Brain Health

The Brain Innovation Days (BIDs) bring together a diverse range of stakeholders across the brain innovation ecosystem, providing an established forum for strategic dialogue, cross-sector collaboration and collective action to advance Europe’s brain health and innovation agenda.
The panel discussion organised by EBC will take place on the second day of the event (19 November 2026) as part of a dedicated programme segment on EU competitiveness in Brain Health. The discussion will explore how Europe can become the first-choice destination for global innovators in the brain space to develop, scale, and commercialise their innovations. It will further examine the instruments and mechanisms needed to close the innovation gap and strengthen the EU’s competitive position in brain health, addressing gaps and structural barriers, while identifying strengths and opportunities to accelerate the deployment of brain innovations across EU markets.
