Shaping the Future of Brain Health: CSA BrainHealth’s Milestones in 2024 and Vision for 2025

As 2024 comes to a close we want to take a moment to reflect on the past year, and thank you for your support and contributions to the CSA BrainHealth.

This year has been incredibly eventful with important progress towards the establishment of the European Partnership for Brain Health. We couldn’t have achieved all that we did without your support and like to share some of the highlights.

In May 2024, the CSA BrainHealth’s first General Assembly, where we reviewed progress, refined strategies, and reinforced our shared commitment to advancing brain health.

In July 2024, the proposal draft for the European Partnership for Brain Health was published by the European Commission. This draft proposal is a joint effort by the CSA BrainHealth incorporating inputs and information from the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), the Funders Forum, all CSA BrainHealth partners, and the European Commission. This draft will be the basis to elaborate the full proposal for the European Partnership for Brain Health to be submitted in 2025.

In October, the publication of the Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA), and the Public Consultation which gathered invaluable feedback from stakeholders across Europe.

Throughout the year, the hosting of international webinars and participation in key events such as the Brain Innovation Days or the Brain Health conference under the Hungarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, fostering global dialogue and collaboration in brain health research and innovation.

These accomplishments display the collective efforts of our partners, stakeholders, and the wider brain health community to shape a future where brain health is prioritized, and where meaningful solutions improve the lives of those affected by brain conditions.

As we step into 2025, we look forward to building on the achievements, and continuing this important journey with you.

Wishing you and your loved ones a joyful holiday and peaceful festive season and a healthy new year.

With warm regards,

The CSA BrainHealth Team
